Refund policy
All Headland subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Refunds are handled by Google.
How Google handles refunds
- You can request a refund directly from your Google Play account within 48 hours of purchase for an automatic-decision flow.
- Beyond 48 hours, you can still request a refund, and Google reviews it manually. Decisions vary by jurisdiction and your account history with Google.
- If Google issues a refund, we receive a notification and your access drops to the Free tier immediately. Your farm data is preserved — see our privacy policy for retention details.
The 30-day trial
Every new farm gets 30 days of Business-tier access automatically when you create the farm, no payment method required. If you decide Headland isn't right for you, simply don't subscribe — you'll downgrade to Free at the end of the trial. There's nothing to refund because we never charged you.
If a refund seems warranted because of a service issue
If you believe a refund is warranted because of a service outage, data loss, or other problem on our end, email support@headlandcropmanagement.com with the details. We're not able to process the refund ourselves, but we can document the issue and (a) advocate with Google on your behalf where appropriate, and (b) apply an entitlement override in the app to comp you while the refund is being processed if you'd otherwise lose access.
Tax invoices & receipts
Google Play issues the receipt for every charge. Find your order history at play.google.com/store/account/orders. For most jurisdictions, this is what your accountant needs for tax purposes. We do not produce parallel invoices.
